Our Background Story

Established in 2007, Table Mountain Guest House is a fine, classy guesthouse that will offer visitors a warm atmosphere with friendly professional staff. The ambience and attention to detail shows off pride and splendour. The safe haven of Malmesbury, is a secure alternative to the hazards of the big cities. Base yourself in the heart of the Cape nostalgia and explore and enjoy the Western Cape.

Table Mountain Guest House provides up-market experience at affordable rates in tranquil and secure surroundings. Situated only 45 minutes from Cape Town International Airport north on the N7, Table Mountain Guesthouse is a base from which to explore the unique West Coast & magnificent wine farms. Activities on offer include 4x4 trails, biking, hiking, nature trails, horse-riding and whale-watching a mere 40 minutes away.

The guesthouse offers a variety of in-house entertainment to our guests. A sparkling clean swimming pool, pool table and flat screen TV at the bar. Guests can enjoy a delicious full English Breakfast or a Continental Breakfast in the dining room.

Our Rooms

One of the great things said about us, is our exquisite hospitality. Our guestbook is filled with loads of praise and we frequently see guests returning to our guesthouse. A guesthouse defined in our opinion should be experienced as one’s home away from home. We have 12 well equipped rooms which includes a wheelchair friendly room for handicapped guests. Wheelchair guests have easy access to the front door, within and around the guesthouse, including the outside pool and braai area

Our rooms have the best views over the Boland Mountains as well as Table Mountain. The guesthouse is situated in a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood where you can experience peace and tranquility away from the rat race. Your first observation will be “cleanliness, well maintained and a friendly, homely atmosphere.

Our rooms are all en-suite with bath/shower and are rich in interior design and well equipped with TV, bar fridges, wireless internet, air-conditioning (2 without), hairdryers, coffee trays, towels and quality linen.

Business details

Table Mountain Guesthouse offers 12 luxury rooms. Conference facilities that will host 22 people are available. Numerous functions from spit braai, small weddings and tea parties can be catered for.

Luxury accommodation, all rooms with en-suite bathrooms and uninterrupted views over Table Mountain and Boland Mountains in the distance. Each room has a TV, fridge, hospitality tray, toiletries and quality linen. Internet is available. Four of our rooms are equipped with a safe for valuables.

Television channels offered include SABC TV 1 – 3, e-TV, M-Net, SuperSport and a few local channels like Cape Town TV.
